The packing is made by pre oxidation of acrylic fiber, which is made of PTFE emulsion and lubricant. Carbonized fiber packing has excellent thermal conductivity, wear resistance and chemical stability, and relatively inexpensive in non asbestos products. It is an ideal substitute for asbestos.
